World’s Biggest Flower
0

On searching for the world’s biggest flowers, we came across this true giant. The Titan Arum. Originating from Sumatra, these monsters can grow to over 3 metres in circumference. Each leaf can grow to the size of  a small garden shed, I don’t think you would want to send this your mother for mothers day! Especially weighing in at over 75 kilograms, Wow! Not to mention the putrid scent of rotten fish the plant secretes. This really is the monster of the organic world.

These giants are exceptionally rare to find, needing the absolute perfect condition for survival, especially being neither male or female, pollination is critical to its surroundings. If we could grow these in our house, it would be recommended to have 30 degrees plus with great humidity.
